As you recall, around the time of the “Summer of Love,” the anti-police movement grew astronomically. During this time, Abdul El-Sayed said how he really feels, and it is as radical as you think.

In 2021, the radical leftist claimed that his heart races when he sees cops because of vague experiences he has had in the past. He claims cops never helped him. It is unclear what he meant by this, but clearly, his promises to "work hand in hand” with the police are disingenuous, at best.
Per The Washington Free Beacon:
Abdul El-Sayed touts endorsements from police unions on his campaign website and says he will "work hand in hand with law enforcement" if elected to the Senate in Michigan. But in videos unearthed by the Washington Free Beacon, El-Sayed said his "heart races" out of fear when he sees cops, suggested that American police officers should not carry guns, and that it’s time to "rethink the power of police unions," which "sink their claws" into politicians.
The only people who should fear cops are the ones breaking the law. And while I am not here to tell you El-Sayed is a criminal, he sure fears the cops like he has something to hide. Why do you think that is?
"In my experience, the police have never been out there to help me," El-Sayed said in a Feb. 15, 2021 interview, recounting a conversation with his grandfather, who told him, "The police are out there to help you."
Police are law enforcement officers. They enforce the law. The only people they don't help are criminals. And again, I am not here to tell you he is a criminal; I am here to tell you he has more than proven how little he respects our nation’s officers, and that alone should bar him from ever holding office. The fact that leftists can go around claiming they hate the cops and still get this far in a race is deeply concerning.
"That’s never been my experience. So, when I see cops, when I get pulled over to this day, right, my heart races," said El-Sayed.
Again, these are not the comments of someone who supports law enforcement. So, if you thought he would be in favor of policies that decrease crime and hold criminals accountable, you were wrong, as he has proven just how radical he truly is.
On another note, critics argue that he has been dishonest regarding alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
According to his own sister, Abdul El-Sayed’s family has “long been” Muslim Brotherhood. Abdul needs to be honest with Michiganders about he and his families ties to terrorism. https://t.co/0OhSBTpPg8
