An innocent black woman was shot and killed in New York today. Yet there have been no Black Lives Matter marches, protests, or memorial videos. The group hasn’t even thrown together a single, paltry vigil. The reason? I’m sure you can guess. This lady committed the unpardonable sin of being a police officer.
A two-time convict who has voiced anger at law enforcement officers in the past shot and killed a New York City officer through a police vehicle window in the Bronx early Wednesday, in what the police commissioner called an “unprovoked attack.” The gunman was killed by other officers, the police said.
The officer, Miosotis Familia, 48, was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced dead about three hours after the shooting.
Look, nobody is saying Black Lives Matter is responsible for speaking up every single time a black person dies — except BLM themselves. The organization has made it their business every time a person possessing the right amount of melanin is killed (see Chaos in Milwaukee After Police Shoot Armed Suspect. Because #BlackLivesMatter). Yet here we are, a black woman has died, and it’s safe to say her death isn’t even so much as a blip on BLM’s radar.
In a video he posted to Facebook … [the shooter] railed against prison conditions. He also hinted that he would not back down in any future confrontations with police officers on the streets.
He added, “We can’t be dying for free, just for them to give you hush money. Is you stupid? I don’t want the money. I want justice.”
At another point, Mr. Bonds alluded to encountering officers and said, “I’m not hesitating. It ain’t happening. I wasn’t a bitch in jail and I’m not going to be a bitch in these streets.”
Any of this sound familiar? This lad seems to share the same hatred of cops possessed by the Black Lives Matter movement. See #BlackLivesMatter Activist Attacks Off-Duty Police Officer at his Home and Dartmouth College: BlackLivesMatter Destroys and Replaces Police Memorial Display
Mayhaps this sudden and uncharacteristic silence stems from a guilty conscience. After all, the same ideology encouraged by this leftist legion of police loathers is what killed Miosotis. A tragedy to be sure. Just not for those who’ve maligned cops as menaces to society.
Jot this one down as a win for BLM.
