To claim the Canadian MAID model is contradictory to everything the Bible teaches would be an understatement. This is why it is bizarre, evil, and a whole bunch more adjectives that a Canadian church is organizing a presentation by MAID officials, all under the guise of a potato night. Can anyone make it make sense?

According to The Post Millenail:
A church in Canada has come under fire for hosting a hot potato night, in which congregants attending can enjoy a baked potato, that focuses on educating attendees about the country’s government-assisted suicide, know as Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID).
Last time I checked, it was not up to the government to decide when and if life is no longer worth living. And for one to agree that the government does somehow have that power is not rooted in Biblical truth. This is what makes it bizarre that a church would even open up such an evil possibility to attendees, especially under the impression that it is nothing more than a baked potato event.
An "inclusive" church in Canada partnered with government officials to host an event teaching people how they can K*LL themselves.
Don't worry, attendees get a free baked potato!

St. Timothy's Anglican Church in Nova Scotia is scheduled to host the event on October 5. An advertisement for the event states that MAID “is a legally available, end of life option for Canadians who are fully assessed, and found to meet strict eligibility criteria. Making the choice to seek MAID is a deeply personal decision, and such a decision requires accurate, and timely information.”
The church said that staff from the province’s MAID program would deliver a presentation covering the criteria, process, “and the things people should consider” regarding MAID. The advertisement added, “the evening includes a baked potato with all the toppings and a beverage.” The event was first reported by independent journalist Kelsi Sheren.
It is one level of evil for deranged leftists to promote such a reprehensible program under the fake guise of moral relativity. It is a whole other level of evil with it coming from a place pretending to defend the Word of God. Last time I checked, the Bible warned us of people and places like this.
Per 1 John 4:1, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” I think that about sums it up, don’t you?
