While you struggle to make ends meet and the cost-of-living crisis continues to get worse by the day, some lawmakers are wasting time throwing birthday parties for their dogs, and the internet is not too happy about it.

Per TMZ:
Forget Senate hearings and votes ... Jim Justice had a bigger event on the Capitol Hill calendar Wednesday ... his dog's early birthday party ... and we scored an invite.
Charlie spotted a giant billboard outside the senator's office advertising "Babydog's 7th Birthday Rodeo" ... and the lawmaker from West Virginia invited him to swing by.
Justice says the English bulldog doesn't turn 7 until October 15, but Congress won't be in session then ... so folks on the Hill had to take time out of their busy schedules to celebrate early ... at 4 PM on a workday.
While I guess I would have no issues with boomers throwing their canine birthday parties on their own time, this was the middle of the workday. Did you need any more proof that these people are useless?
Congress isn't in session.
They refuse to pass the SAVE Act.

The fact that many people lined up for such an event also proves that officials in Washington are doing nothing beneficial for you.

Nope. None of that. Just boomers, birthday hats, and a dog in a wagon. At this point, lawmakers should just admit they hate the people because they have proven time and again they could not care less about making this country better off. But what else is new?
