ICE is not AI. It is not surveillance. And it certainly is not coming after you regardless of “status.” This is why it is both bizarre and disingenuous for AOC to claim all of that and more.

According to AOC, because ICE has not existed longer than she has been alive, this means something. It is unclear what it means because her entire rant was rooted in falsehood, but just like her, use your immigration.

The fact that she might run for president at some point in our lives is astonishing. Clearly, as you-know-who would say, the left is not “sending their best”

Per The Daily:

“ICE is Palantir. ICE is AI. ICE is facial recognition. ICE is surveillance, and ICE is coming after you, regardless of your status,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned at a town hall for students versus billionaires put on by a More Perfect University.

People like AOC use words like “status” because it is a subtle way to imply that just because someone is illegal now, that does not mean their “status” won’t change in the future. This is why she then proceeds to rant on about how this status should go through the court system, as if that has anything to do with this.

“And so, that’s not to say that there shouldn’t be any enforcement. We have laws, and that should go through our criminal justice system, just like breaking any other law works. And so, if you engage in violence or if you engage in any of these things, we have an established criminal justice system where we are able to have our day in court. We are able to experience due process, and whatever consequence may exist from that, that is how our system works. But a black box, an unconstitutional system that can be used to disappear people, which is what this administration is doing, should not exist in any functioning democracy in the world, let alone the United States of America.”

The problem with claiming that she supports laws is that she is actively campaigning on behalf of foreign nationals who have broken federal immigration laws. As Tom Homan has said many times before, ICE is solely enacting the laws Congress enacted. If she hates it that much, she should do something to change it. But she will not do that, as this is nothing more than a fear-mongering show that gives her progressive talking points or whatever. Nonetheless, the fact that she claims ICE is somehow engaging in an “unconstitutional system,” as if these people have a constitutional right to be here, is totally deranged.

And lol to her claiming ICE uses a system that "disappears people.” Who even talks like that? Gosh, she is so pathetic, and the fact that there are people as pathetic as her who believe this nonsense is astonishing.
