Democrat Senate candidate refuses to admit Iran is worse than Israel in bizarre debate performance

It's October, and there is a lot of drinking from the firehose when it comes to debate clips. And that's even to the extent that the debate matters, depending on how your "eat at Arby's" cynicism is manifesting at this stage in the midterms. Mayhaps people from Michigan can help me out here.
When you have an extremist candidate like Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed who codes Islamist, to the point where a growing number of democrats won't support him, this clip seems disqualifying. Or, THESE clips. There are multiple from last night's depate against his opponent, Rep. Mike Rogers.
It is one thing to say we provide Israel with too much foreign aid, or to say that maybe they went overboard self-defending themselves after a massive terrorist attack against them. But saying Iran is a bigger threat to Israel is a no-brainer.

It seems like an easy parry. Admit Iran is bad, then steer the conversation to how you want to force Americans on government-run healthcare. Or, "Medicare for All," as the streets call it. Of course, El Sayed's doctor wife refuses to take Medicare now, but that's not the issue here.
Instead, I'm sensing a theme.

My cynicism levels are high today. If it looks like Rogers is going to win, you'd assume someone working for the Wayne County Board of Elections will find a thumb drive where most of the votes on it will break Abdul's way.
However, to the extent that debates still matter, this was a brutal performance that should give a ton of momentum to Rogers in the final stretch. We'll see what the next month brings.
