YouTube Shooter Identified as Nasim Najafi Aghdam, Angry About Demonetization
There's a lot to unpack here. Starting with the YouTube shooter who's been identified as Nasim Najafi Aghdam. Obviously a Methodist.
Details are trickling out on the identity of the woman who shot three employees at YouTube’s headquarters in northern California on Tuesday (April 3), before killing herself.
San Bruno police named the suspect as Nasim Najafi Aghdam, a 39-year-old resident of San Diego, Calif. They added that there was “no evidence that the shooter knew the victims of this shooting or that individuals were specifically targeted.”
Speaking to the Mercury News, Aghdam’s father said that she had grown angry after YouTube reduced her ability to earn ad revenues from her videos. Many of her videos reportedly showed her complaining about what she believed was censorship on YouTube, and she alleged on her website that the video platform was targeting her unfairly.
Sadly for the left, they had to pump the breaks on politicizing the shooting. It won't work calling the shooter an assault woman. And an assault vegan/animal rights activist. Yes, she made videos about animal rights, veganism, and fitness. One does. Using an assault handgun. Over her assault demonetized videos. But here's where we think things are going to head:
- YouTube cracking down on people actively bitching about demonetization. Because now we're all going to be potential shooters. It'll probably be our fault in the first place.
- Use this incident to "prove" that censorship is not aimed at conservatives (see Joe Rogan Reveals What a YouTube Official Said About Hate Speech and BANNED: Twitter and YouTube Team Up Against Crowder!).
The bossman will have a lot more to say about this on the show tonight. We'll be following the story as it develops during the day.
