This was an interesting article.
It’s fascinating when SJWs and the rest of the politically correct left decide to have an opinion outside of those pre-approved by the collective. They realize, that to be a SJW (Social Justice Warrior) requires one to simply throw words around – whose meaning you don’t understand– in order to arbitrarily make up new words that are increasingly problematic. Don’t get it? Your patriarchy’s showing.

One of my first articles for the Columbia Daily Spectator was on a photo project, “Somos Dreamers,” that investigated the implications of US immigration laws for undocumented residents. My father is a first generation Mexican-American, and I have a lot of family still in Mexico. I’m a vocal proponent of liberalizing and reforming our immigration laws.
In the story, I used the word “illegal” once or twice — not to demonize the undocumented but to simply acknowledge the problem: immigrating to the United States without documentation is illegal.
Student groups like Casa Latina and Chicano Caucus were so offended that they ignored how positive the article was and instead attacked my person, asked that the article be removed and even wanted to hold a seminar to teach me why I should reconsider my terminology.
Hold a seminar to teach her why she should reconsider her terminology. Those words were actually said, out loud, and in that order.
By adults. Allegedly.
The sad thing is that a lot of the SJW’s accusing her of being insensitive don’t even care that she’s on ‘their side’. To the SJW leftist, it doesn’t matter if you agree with them on 99% of the censorship, it has to be 100%… or you must be punished.
Even sadder is that this young lady will likely stay a SJW leftist. Even in facing the monster that she’s helped create, it’s unlikely that she’ll straighten up and fly right. She’ll just double down on becoming ‘even more sensitive.’ Appeasing crocodiles is futile, but she’ll do it anyway.
And they will devour her. They always do. They. Always. Do.
