Veteran Brings PTSD Service Dog into Restaurant. Woman Goes Full Crazy
EDITOR'S NOTE: On this day in 2017...
The internet sometimes throws a crazy curve ball of batshit proportions (see Crazy Feminist Says Pineapple Symbolizes ‘Post-Trump’ Era. This is Why Everyone Hates Feminists… and Student Records Professor’s Crazy Anti-Trump Rant. School Decides to… Suspend the Student?!).
The following is no different, wherein a woman goes on a full on crazy meltdown over a dog in a restaurant.
Holding the lead, the veteran stands near his dog, which appears to be a Great Dane mix with an official military coat wrapped around its body. The animals help victims of serious injury or accident feel safe during potentially difficult social situations.
When the screaming woman claims the veteran is not allowed to bring his dog inside, one waitress is heard shouting: 'He's allowed because he fought for our country.'
The aggressive diner then responds erratically, claiming her husband was also a serviceman who died abroad, and continued screaming: 'It's nasty to me, it's f******* disgusting,' before calling various diners w***** and b*****.
'There should be a separate section for the f****** animals,' the woman continues to rant.
Firstly, my blood boileth over. No one, especially a veteran, should be treated in this manner. The woman has me wondering if she needed assistance popping her eyeballs back in their sockets. Xanex. Get some.
Secondly, the fur baby in the video brings a whole fruit basket of fur concerned questions. We've all seen gerbils in the carts of middle-aged women at Walmart, trying to pass off their rat-weasels as service animals. Such animals distract from legitimate service dogs which ensure seizure Susie doesn't hit her head during spontaneous dance parties. Given the overabundance of fake therapy/service dogs, one could understand this woman's frustration. Veteran or not, the "it's a therapy dog I need it" excuse is used far more than it should be. Okay? Okay.
However, frustration and pure insanity should not be interchanged. This man has rights too, he just wants to enjoy his overcooked burger and limp fries in peace. And if the dog is a legitimate service dog (not a comfort dog whose vest was purchased via Amazon) and helps this veteran deal with the trauma he received after enduring bullet hail storms, then the dog also deserves an overcooked burger and limp fries. Food fixes many things.
Speaking of rights, here are the veteran's:
Under law by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.
'The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability,' the government website added.
We don't have the power to identify whether or not this dog is a real service dog. But neither does this woman. Neither does the dog.
Legitimate service dog or not, this woman had no right to perform a one woman show of "I can be crazier than you just watch me." How funny that she cites her daughter as reason for staff not to be rude to her, as she engages in cursing, frantic rage fest of methamphetamine fueled proportions. Yikes.
