Hillary to Honor #BlackLivesMatter at DNC. Police Union Calls Her Out...
To salute the #BlackLivesMatter movement (see #BlackLivesMatter Stops Sick Baby From Getting To Hospital and ‘PROGRESS’: BlackLivesMatter Protesters Stomp, Spit on Flag for ‘Black Power’), Hillary Clinton and the DNC are having family members of people who were killed by police officers speak. The Philadelphia Police Union wants to know, what about the family members of police officers who were killed?
“It is sad that to win an election Mrs. Clinton must pander to the interests of people who do not know all the facts, while the men and women they seek to destroy are outside protecting the political institutions of this country,” the statement read. “Mrs. Clinton, you should be ashamed of yourself if that is possible.”The statement came days after the Clinton campaign announced that former President Bill Clinton would speak Tuesday night along with members of Mothers of the Movement, a group that includes Gwen Carr, mother of Eric Garner; Sybrina Fulton, mother of Trayvon Martin; and Lezley McSpadden, mother of Michael Brown.
Clinton’s campaign responded Wednesday, noting that two members of law enforcement are scheduled to speak at the convention, including former Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey.
Yes, Michael Brown. As in Ferguson, Missouri. As in the "hands up, don't shoot" lie that created the #BlackLivesMatter movement that has led to police being killed (ALLEGEDLY). Those people are being honored. Is it sad their loved ones died? Yes, of course it is. But many of these cases? They've been used to push a false narrative. See video at the end of this post for further clarification.
What Hillary and the DNC are doing is par for the course, really: honoring people who, actually, don't really deserve it. Playing up the victim. Maligning cops. Pushing a false narrative. In other words, Tuesday.
But the family members of cops who've died while serving the public?
No biggie. You can't push a narrative with those schmoes. They just, like, died heroes and stuff. Why honor them if you're a democrat? No need. No angle. No votes out of that. No rabble-rousing, crap-weaseling shenanigans can be had if you actually honor cops.
Here's a final thought before we go. What do you think would happen at the DNC if good cops WERE honored? If their families were honored? Do you think there would be much applause, or much booing?
Right.
It would appear Democrats don't feel like they've maligned cops enough. That is, right up until the leftists want to take our gun rights and let the cops (who they said seven breaths ago were racists) take care of us.
