Why is CNN trying to Screw Carly Fiorina?

Brodigan
August 21, 2015

Well, this is crap.

It's no secret we're fans of Carly "honey badger" Fiorina, and we all wished she should have been at the grown up debate the last time around. Many people, not just us, thought she won both debates, and as a result she had the best polling bump from any of our 217,824 presidential candidates. Little known fact: the candidate who places 217,823 was... 'DEEZ NUTZ'.

So why might she get shut out of the prime-time debate AGAIN???

Because the idiots at CNN are factoring in all the polling from before the first debate. Right, a news conglomerate is using outdated and irrelevant data to determine which candidates will attend a future debate. Makes perfect sense. If you're on dope.

The CNN debate methodology, released earlier this year, weighs polls from July 16 to Sept. 10. The use of the earlier surveys will hurt the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, who barely registered in the polls before the Aug. 6 Fox News debate. But since then, she has seen a significant bounce.

The criteria could also protect Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.) from sliding out of the top 10 despite his recent dip in polls.

Fiorina received 1 percent support or less in most of the polls before the Fox News debate. After a strong performance at Fox's second-tier debate, her numbers began to climb, jumping to 5 percent. Campaign and supporters hope she can maintain polling numbers high enough to make CNN’s top 10.

This is why we can't have nice things.
