So, if you hadn't heard, the former Prime Minister of Japan was assassinated, yesterday, by a guy with a homemade gun, in a country that has banned nearly all firearm ownership. Period. Just keep that in the back of your mind as you hear the White House's position on "protesters" harassing Supreme Court justices.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh--who has already been the target of an attempted assassination over his support for the decision in Dobbs v. Jackson--couldn't even enjoy a meal without protesters tracking down his location, blasting it out on social media, and starting an impromptu protest outside the restaurant he was patronizing. As far as the White House is concerned, though, this is just how democracy works.

See, when leftists harass conservatives, that's just democracy doing its thing. The White House is more than happy allowing their rabid goons to intimidate justices so long as the goons are intimidating the right justices. But then, the left has no morals to speak of, so such a position should be expected.

For their part, the steakhouse where Kavanaugh was dining came out harshly against the mob, saying, "Honorable Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh and all of our other patrons at the restaurant were unduly harassed by unruly protestors while eating dinner at our Morton’s restaurant. Politics, regardless of your side or views, should not trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner. There is a time and place for everything. Disturbing the dinner of all of our customers was an act of selfishness and void of decency."

Perhaps we can get whoever runs comms over at Morton's appointed to a position in the White House. "An act of selfishness [] void of decency" was exactly what the protesters engaged in and will undoubtedly continue to engage in as the White House and the entirety of the Democratic Party sit back and say nothing until something terrible happens... But even then, I'd be surprised to hear a single harsh word from them even then.
