There have been a few famous cases of people pulling the ol' party switch-a-roo from Democrat to Republican. Many people, from the Planet of the Apes guy to Frank Sinatra to a little-known fella by the name of Ronald Reagan have swapped sides. Those people, and many others, became disillusioned by the Democratic Party and their increasingly leftist agenda.

Well, they can now count the Governor of West Virginia, Jim Justice, among their ranks.

On Thursday night, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice took to the stage at President Trump‘s rally to officially announce that he is switching his party affiliation.

“This man and myself are not politicians,” he began. “We ran to get something done. We ran and gave up part of our lives. We ran because we want nothing. We ran, as our Founding Fathers did, to serve.”

Justice began by telling the rally goers that he “tried with all his soul” during the last session of legislature, but there was “way too much pain.”

“We hurt a lot of people,” he expressed. “We hurt our vets,and our teachers, and our disabled, and our weak, and we walked away from the old.”

He went on to say that the “Democrats walked away” from him at the alter.

“Today I tell you as West Virginians- I can’t help you anymore being a Democrat governor,” Justice stated.  “So tomorrow, I will be changing my registration to Republican.”

Good for Jim, and the fine people of West Virginia. In light of the Democrats' behavior over the past hundred-and-fifty years, I'd say a clean break was in order. No use in dragging things on.

Jim Justice is right. The Democrats abandoned anyone who wasn't a Marxist feminist genderqueer person of color a long time ago. It seems like, if you don't meet the left's rigorous identity standards, they'll leave you at the wayside without a second thought.

Back in the olden days of last year, the Democrats pushed Hillary Clinton as a pantsuited superhero. She made a promise to look after the people of West Virginia. By putting their coal plants out of business and upending their economy. But, before you blow your top, just know. It was all for a good cause. Namely, saving polar bears from global warming so they live to sip on Coca-Cola another day. Yet, leftists wonder why they lost.

If you can't help further the left's agenda, you're of no use to them. They'll either ignore you completely, or they'll steamroll over you to get what they want. So, it's not surprising at all when people wise up to their lies and say "good day, sir."

Be on the lookout for more people with semi-functional brains to abandon the sinking ship that is the left.
