WATCH: "What's the difference between a Socialist and a Democrat on taxes?" Bernie Can't Answer!

Courtney Kirchoff
October 19, 2017

Thank you, internet for setting this moment between Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders to music. You've redeemed yourself this day:

Instant Classic #cnndebate #CruzCrew https://t.co/nbpfBQRCVX
— Jeff Roe (@Jeff Roe)1508425362.0

Here's the clip in its full context, lest anyone who didn't watch the full debate get their Huggies in a bunch. Context makes it much worse:

Firstly I'd like to give kudos to Bernie for actually debating Ted Cruz. Not once, but twice. And Cruz has a point, at least Bernie is honest about where he stands.

The Democrats are racing to socialist policies like feminists to an all you can eat buffet. Stand clear of the rainbow haired stampede. Democrats like Hillary or Debbie Wasserman Shultz try hiding their party's devotion to the socialist machine. But Bernie? He's out there and open about it, flapping his arms about fairness. While holding three keys to three different homes. But we're not supposed to talk about that.

As Cruz points out, Bernie Sanders' values, along with Elizabeth Warren's (Indigenous Princess), are the future of the Democrat party. Should Bernie or Warren go mainstream, should their ideas infect mush brained generations like a parasitic disease, expect America to adopt policies like socialist nations. I'd like to note Bernie Sanders often cites Denmark or other nordic countries for socialist "success" stories. A clever slight of hand while socialist Venezuela slaughters its pets for dinner.

But socialism, "democratic" or otherwise, is still socialism. A rose by any other name will still draw blood if you hang tight hard enough.
