Steve Scalise, who was shot in June by a socialist mad man, made a triumphant return to Congress today. Watch:

Because Steve Scalise is a Republican, minimum media attention was given to the shooting. What with the shooter having been a Bernie Sanders fanboy of the socialist butt-kissing, gun-toting variety. And not, as the media probably prayed to Hades, a talk radio, TEA Party devotee. Damn those narrative busters.

There were several "touch and go" moments during Scalise's recovery, but he's finally well enough to return to Congress. And at least, for a short time, they appear united. I give it until sundown. But hey, I'll take the civility, brief as it may be.
