The anti-Trump media complex was a little too excited to destroy the Covington High students lives (see Joy Behar Admits Media Ran with Covington Story Because They Hate Trump and Was the Covington Students Incident Started…By a Fake Twitter Account?). Just because, facts schmacts. That’s usually the case when they think they can dunk on Trump. Which to make matters worse for the press, their second least favorite person in the world just totally put them on blast. Take it away Sarah Huckabee Sanders:
We saw it again with the Covington students. I’ve never seen people so happy to destroy a kid’s life. When that becomes the norm in the media in America simply because they are associated with this president, that is disgraceful, and that should never happen. Let’s hope that this is a lesson to all of the media, to everyone.
Brilliant point: “don’t focus on being first, focus on being right.”
Too few people are interested in being right. Unless you’re a wife and your husband is being a dingus. In media today, the money is in the clicks. It’s like those annoying “first to comment” people. Who cares if you’re first to comment. Shouldn’t you just have the best feedback? No. Too many people on the internet just care about being first to report, not best to report. It’s a problem, like the internet’s version of a soon-to-pop zit.
Of course, the problem isn’t the media sucking at life. The leftist story now is bemoaning how conservatives are “pouncing” over the media sucking at life. Which means we’ll probably all be back here later to lather, rinse and repeat the next time media is more focused on ORANGE MAN BAD than anything that actually happened.
