Piers Morgan, at least to me, is one of the most surprising liberals to be "red pilled." Few in the media are as anti-gun. But little by little, his now-former(?) leftist colleagues have been getting more and more ridiculous (see Piers Morgan: Liberal Media DOESN’T CARE About Muslims Attacking Christians and Piers Morgan Wrecks London’s Muslim Mayor Over Not Keeping London Safe). However, after this interview with notorious tumbler merchant Ben Shapiro, I don't see Piers being invited to any Kensington cocktail parties anytime soon.

This snowflake culture we operate in. This victimhood culture. Everyone has to think a certain way. Behave a certain way. Everyone has to have a bleeding heart and tell you twenty things that are wrong with them. I just think it's all completely skewed to an environment where everyone is offended by everything. And no one is allowed to say a joke...suddenly, where are we? The liberals get what they want. Which is a humorless void. Where nothing happens. Where no one dare do anything. Or laugh about anything. Or behave in any way that doesn't suit their rigid way of living a life.

Not to sound like a broken record, but this is another example of how coalition-building comes in. Because yes, Piers Morgan is still wrong about guns. Period. Full stop. He's also sounding more and more like a #MugClub member in any number of other issues. He has access to an audience of other lefties who might feel the same.

Embrace him. Welcome him to the family. Invite him to bring his fans with him. We can still argue with him about guns and make sure he knows how wrong he is in his wrongness. But any time a liberal/leftists/progressive/whoever gives us an opening on something we agree on, we should take it. After that, the rest is up to us.
