No, of course you're not surprised Ilhan Omar, the Israel-hating anti-Semite, refused to condemn the 9/11 terrorists or even call them terrorists. I'm not surprised either. This isn't an OMG SO OUTRAGEOUS post as it is a "look at what the Democrats tolerate, nay support" kind of post.

Technically she's right. Some people did something. But to classify terrorists who killed almost 3,000 innocent people as "some people" and to dismiss their terrorist act as "something" is rubbing me the wrong way. One of two explanations for Ilhan Omar's choice of words:

1. She doesn't think the terrorist attack was that bad to warrant being labeled a terrorist attack.
2. She doesn't want to call attention to a terrorist attack.

Neither option is good. Again, I'm not surprised. You're not surprised. But it matters because of how the Democrats, and now the media, is looking up to her. Case in point:

"Changing the conversation about Israel." She's an anti-semitic crap heap. But look at how Newsweek describes her. Would a news outlet like Newsweek say "Trump is changing the conversation about immigration"? I don't think so. Would a news outlet like Newsweek say "Steven Crowder is changing the conversation about gender"? I don't think so. "How Ben Shapiro is changing the conversation about pushing asbestos via crappy tumblers"? Maybe.

Democrats: the party of abortion, open borders, real hate, anti-Semitism, and now a woman who brushes terrorism under the prayer rug. They're not even hiding it.
