WATCH: "Fact" "Checking" Site Snopes Ignores Video of Antifa Attacking Journalist
Journalist Andy Ngo was violently assaulted in Portland by Antifa. Portland, where the inmates have been running the asylum for a while (see Violent Portland Antifa Group Assaults Journalist at Rally and Portland Police Chief Asks: Why isn’t Antifa EVER Held Accountable?). Right. He SAID he was attacked. And SAID his camera was stolen. As if there aren't videos showing that it's what actually happened. Like this one:
Also, the link in their tweet is to an Associated Press article about the incident. The "fact" "checking" website didn't even write their own post about it. So they went out of their way to find an excuse to delegitimize the violent attack.
Here's why I bring this up: how many lefty friends of yours rely on Snopes as their appeal to authority. "Whoops! Snopes says I'm right! You suck!" That's like claiming something is a fact just because you write the word "FACT:" in a tweet before stating something that is clearly your opinion.
All because someone claims to be a "fact" checker, it doesn't mean they actually check facts. Especially when it comes to Snopes.
