Humorless leftists across the interwebs are so very happy to see SNL cancel Shane Gillis. Huzzah! Another scalp (see SNL Goes in on 'Cancel Culture' and Cans Shane Gillis. He Responds with Class. and Rob Schneider Offers Advice to Shane Gillis While Brilliantly Insulting Critics). Actual comedians like Bill Burr and Jim Jeffries? Not so much. They appeared on David Spade's show, who as a former SNL cast member, played Switzerland. Though methinks he may have an opinion or two about Cancel Culture himself.

You can honestly [cancel] anybody. So I don't get it. And I don't get that you can't work on a sketch show, but can work at like a lumber yard? He's certainly going to meet more Asians there. Then on SNL. It's a joke about how SNL doesn't hire Asians...now I'm in trouble? We're not running for office. When is this going to f***ing end? You f***ing millennials, you're a bunch of rats.

SNL used to be THE destination for comics. For many, it was why they got into comedy. Now SNL has basically decided they are only interested in entertaining a handful of hecklers on Twitter, and people vaping outside of a vegan coffee shop in Park Slope. This strange phenomenon is not even our usual right vs left. Lest you think Jim Jefferies is going to be joining Mug Club anytime soon. Both Burr and Jefferies are self-admitted leftists, and they think Cancel Culture is ridiculous.

This war is about people who have a sense of humor across all political persuasions vs. people with no sense of humor who suck at life. Just so happens that every member in the latter are all leftist douches. Those of us in the former group are more diverse.
