College sucks. We've explained why a few times (see Dear High School Students: Don't Go to College. No Seriously...). Political correctness and fake diversity help contribute to the steaming pile of bovine fecal matter that is modern college.

Apparently economist Walter Williams thinks so too. A few days ago he discussed how current university trends, like "diversity," are actually hurting students in the long run...

Williams said about 50 percent of newly arrived college students are unprepared... most colleges are finding many incoming freshman need remedial English or Math classes. The system is superficially propping up those students who are doing poorly... In the name of diversity.

"I am glad that I got all of my education before it became fashionable for white people to like black people," Williams said in an interview...

Williams, who is 80 years old, explained, "When I got an 'A' it was an honest to God 'A' and when I got a 'C' it was an honest to God 'C.' They didn't give a damn about my self-esteem."

"...High schools are issuing fraudulent diplomas. That is [the school] are saying these kids are college-ready, but they really are not college-ready at all. But for black students it's even worse. A large percentage of black students are just unprepared for college..."

When it comes to university shortcomings, Williams hits the nail on its wimpy head. Colleges concern themselves more with safe spaces and "inclusiveness" than actual education itself. It ends up being crappy for all of the students (see REAL RACISM: Asian-Americans Denied College Admissions for Being Too Smart?!). The result? Loads of unemployed graduates with degrees in basket weaving. And emotional issues.

Due to years of having their tears dried and butts wiped for them, more and more students graduate without being prepared for the real world. You know, where we don't have free therapy for offensive sombreros or Halloween costumes. Also, we don't pre-chew food for each other like special baby birds. It's an injustice to them. So these wimplets "fight back" by protesting and voting for Bernie, in order to make the whole world one big leftist, socialist utopia. Or Venezuela. Same thing. #PROGRESS
