The Georgia special election was puffed up to be a much bigger deal than it turned out to be. Sorry, Democrats, that's what happens when you overhype a situation. But today it's different. Because the media told us that Democrat Jon "I Feel Not As Pretty As Justin Trudeau" Ossoff was stampeeding towards a 50+1% win! It was going to strike a devastating blow to the Trump Agenda. Viva la resistance!

Yeah, about that...

Democrat Jon Ossoff fell just short Tuesday of capturing a House seat in a longtime conservative stronghold in Georgia, serving a reminder to Republicans of President Donald Trump's unpopularity.

Ossoff received 48.1% of the vote, shy of the 50% he needed to win outright. He and the other top vote-getter -- Republican candidate Karen Handel, who received 19.8% -- will now face off in a runoff election in June, a likely uphill climb for Democrats now that the Republican vote in a reliably GOP district will be consolidated behind one candidate.

So, Jon Ossoff had all the money and all the celebrities campaigning for him. He had all the media and Twitter in his corner, cheering him on to SEND A MESSAGE to Trump and the Republicans. Seas were going to part for Ossoff. God was going to smile down upon him and smite his enemies. But then... not so much.

Republican Karen Handel has ELEVEN other Republican opponents in a conservative district. Now the two candidates are one on one? It is as Emperor Palpatine foretold...

Ah, so the exact outcome desired by His Orangeness.

And this is funny...

Because the "pro-woman" party (the Democrats) ran a "privileged" white male against a woman. Think about it.

He doesn't even live in the district where he's running? Classy. Yet another man trying to take a woman's job. Hey, these are the Democrat talking points shoved down our throats at every opportunity. I'm just pointing them out. If you can't live by the rules you dole out to everyone else, maybe don't run by them, Democrats.

Also...

So this "wakeup call" to Trump and the Republican agenda is not even a thing anymore. The left huffed, and they puffed, but turns out the wolf just had asthma. Who wants to bet the media's going to try and push this story back to the archives with all the terrorists who turned out to be Islamic jihadists and not hateful Christians?
