Voter Mocks CNN's Softball Style Town Halls at Cory Booker Town Hall
A couple of decades ago, CNN was casually referred to as the "Clinton News Network," based on their clear bias for all things left. Today, we just call them fake news slinging banana hammocks. Because so clear is their bias, so obvious is their favoring of Democrats, even fellow Democrats see behind their curtain. A Cory Booker supporter, so hardly a MAGA fanboi, recently poked fun at CNN for their softball ways at a black caucus townhall meeting in Iowa. Have a look.
Hat tip to the Washington Free Beacon for this:
"If CNN is in this house, you need to take a lesson from her. This is what you call a real town hall meeting," the guy said. "All that mess that CNN be doing is all fake. They already got people out in the audience already picked who they want to ask a question. It ain't going down like that here, so CNN need to take a lesson of this."
CNN, who recently honored Jim Acosta with a "truth award," gives Democrats a leg up in the debate arena with a litany of softball questions. Don't take my word for it, check out CNN Fields Easy Questions to Elizabeth Warren at Town Hall Meeting and Parkland JROTC Hero: CNN's Anti-Gun Town Hall was Scripted.
But how transparently soft and bias do you have to be for one of your supposed allies, a black Democrat voter, calling you out for your soft-ball bull caca? Even Democrat voters want real answers from their candidates. Even Democrat voters want to whittle the Democrat presidential candidate list to people who can at least answer real questions about real issues affecting their lives. Even Democrat voters want to hold their candidates to some kind of standard. A standard CNN is failing to meet.
