Yesterday in Nice, France at least 77 people were killed and over 100 injured when a gunman drove an 18-wheeler through a Bastille Day celebration. But that wasn't enough, then the terrorist started shooting, in what's now being called a "truck attack." No, seriously. Check this out:

By "truck attack," we mean Islamic Terrorism. In France. Again. Though maybe, since Europe has been attacked by the Islamists a lot lately, they're trying to diversify how they name these incidents. Because variety.

Still, this "truck attack" looks rather terroristy to me. As in someone drove the truck. Who was a terrorist. Who terrorized people. Who then killed people. Lots of them.

Nice prosecutor Jean-Michel Pretre described a horrific scene, with bodies strewn about along the roadway and Sylvie Toffin, a press officer with the local prefecture, said the truck ran over people on a “long trip” down the sidewalk near Nice’s Palais de la Mediterranee, a building that fronts the beach.

Wassim Bouhlel, a Nice native who spoke to the AP nearby, said that he saw a truck drive into the crowd. “There was carnage on the road,” he said. “Bodies everywhere.”

Another video showed the moment the truck smashed into the crowd in Nice.

This is coming off the heels of another terror attack in Paris less than a year ago, and a 2nd potential one that was thankfully foiled.

Which means the "truck attack" is the latest in a pattern of terrorism in the region, yes? Also, a truck being used in an attack makes the truck a tool. It's the weapon. As we know about tools and weapons, they only work if someone operates it. Usually a member of the species homo sapiens, even if that member is a crappy one. In this case, an Islamist. Because yes, ISIS is totes celebrating this "truck attack."

Ergo we can conclude the truck was not possessed in a way Stephen King thought up. This truck was not given animation via Pixar. The truck was driven by a terrorist.

Got that media? The truck didn't attack people. Just like jets didn't attack the Twin Towers on September 11. People are responsible for these horrific events. PEOPLE. Not objects.
