We're still watching results come in across the country. By the way, at the writing of this post, about half the country has yet to post real, accurate election results. Nevertheless, again at the writing of this post, there doesn't seem to be a blue wave after all. Which has Van Jones all kinds of emotional:

Look at me for a second: the election results are STILL COMING IN. Networks are quickly calling things left and right while entire states have yet to post a single result. Granted I'm not a pollster. Granted I just write the words. But I still think we're a little premature with celebration or commiseration.

All that said, I can still enjoy a media leftist melting down over election results not going his way. Van Jones is one of those leftists who at least has a modicum of intellectual honesty. And if he's torn up about the results here, that's telling. We'll see how the rest of the night pans out.

Also telling is how the left, as admitted by Van Jones, sees conservatives: as a disease only leftism can cure. Perhaps -- and I'm just spitballing here -- Americans don't like their worldviews being compared to an infection only Democrats can cure.
