University Madison Students Want Religious Freedom for Muslims... But Not Christians!
We've said it before and we'll say it again: college is filled with walking butt gaskets. It's low on the list of great investments right now (read Dear High School Students: Don't Go to College. No Seriously...). After all, no need to pay to be surrounded by SJW craziness when you can join us as we laugh at them for free. Let the giggle fits commence...
Welcome to UW-Madison. Or, welcome back. Crowderheads have been here before (see Univ. of Wisconsin Offers Class on ‘Problem of Whiteness’ and University of Wisconsin Creates Absurd New List of ‘Racist Microaggressions’). When it comes to act of moronic political correctness, 'tis a frequent offender. Today we bring you the latest in, "As Religious Freedom Turns." UW-Madison students seem to think some religious deserve rights, while others not so much.
Everyone agreed that a creative professional should have the foundational freedom to decline work that conflicts with their conscience or beliefs. But, when faced with a situation that goes against current cultural expectations? Like a Christian photographer declining to promote a same-sex wedding? The gears start grinding. If a law that forces someone to promote something against their beliefs is so laughable, so unimaginable…then why is it so difficult to extend the same freedom to a Christian creative professional?
Well, because Islamophobia obviously!
Look, just because a couple of Prius-driving bloggers said "it's Islamophobic" doesn't make it so... Except as this video demonstrates, the religious freedom for some, but not for Christians attitude is rather indicative of Obama-era mainstream culture (Bill Maher: 'I Wish Liberals Were as Intolerant of Muslims as They Are of Christians...').
Certain social freedoms are afforded to Muslims that clearly aren't to Christians. Take the gay cake issue for example. If a Christian turns down a couple of gays, (s)he's likely to be branded a homophobe. But if a Muslim turns down the same gays? It's their culture, you BIGOT. And don't you dare judge when that Muslim baker kidnaps the gay couple in the middle of the night and throws them off the tallest building in a 20-mile radius. #CulturalEnrichment
Speaking of which, we have a video of our own showing just that...
