Former Facebook Employees SPECIFICALLY NAME 'Steven Crowder' As Blacklisted News Site
Last week, we told you about how Facebook was using "independent" "news" "curators" to decide what news you see in your timeline. Shockingly not shocking, conservative sources were left out.
There's been an update to the story. Former Facebook employees discussed shadow-banning practices coming from the top down at Facebook, where among others sites, THIS ONE was named specifically as one of their prime targets...
“Depending on who was on shift, things would be blacklisted or trending,” said the former curator. This individual asked to remain anonymous, citing fear of retribution from the company. The former curator is politically conservative, one of a very small handful of curators with such views on the trending team. “I’d come on shift and I’d discover that CPAC or Mitt Romney or Glenn Beck or popular conservative topics wouldn’t be trending because either the curator didn’t recognize the news topic or it was like they had a bias against Ted Cruz.”
The former curator was so troubled by the omissions that they kept a running log of them at the time; this individual provided the notes to Gizmodo. Among the deep-sixed or suppressed topics on the list: former IRS official Lois Lerner, who was accused by Republicans of inappropriately scrutinizing conservative groups; Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker; popular conservative news aggregator the Drudge Report; Chris Kyle, the former Navy SEAL who was murdered in 2013; and former Fox News contributor Steven Crowder. “I believe it had a chilling effect on conservative news,” the former curator said.
Again, I repeat, the former Facebook employees went out of there way to mention...
and former Fox News contributor Steven Crowder.
Now, here's the deal. There's actually a whole lot more going on behind the scenes than I can tell you right now. Yes, there've been myriad things going on with Facebook for a very, very long time now. As I've covered in detail here "Facebook Is Censoring Louder With Crowder and I Can Prove It."
But there is actually a whooooole lot more going on behind the scenes. Things that I can't entirely reveal right now, for what I'm sure you can guess are obvious reasons. Rest assured that I understand Facebook is a private platform well within their rights to censor whomever they want. Okay? Okay.
Also understand, that Facebook is only as valuable as the trust of their users (as seen by the recent Twitter stock plunge). The information to be released here at www.LouderWithCrowder.com goes well beyond the current information available, and I more than believe, will challenge the trust not only of Facebook users, but clients and advertisers engaged in financial relationships with Facebook as well.
Again, I'm not talking about a "boo-hoo, my blog got censored!" post. What I am talking about, will be a game-changer. Nobody will look at Facebook or social media platforms the same.
Notice a big difference between this site named and the others? LouderWithCrowder.com is not nearly as big, I have no "corporate backers" or red tape to cut through. This site is entirely independent and completely unfiltered. But even at its relatively small size compared to the behemoths, this site was named as a prime target. Why? Because LouderWithCrowder.com on a post-per-post basis, outperforms the bigger sites and we play in the left's backyard. My wonderful team and I gain traction on Youtube, on Facebook, in the podcast world... territory that many Conservatives have simply conceded. THAT is why this site is targeted.
Also, for more proof of Facebook censorship, at this very moment, the organic trends on Twitter include this very story.
On Facebook, it is nowhere to be found.
So, that being said, I also understand that many of you still enter this site THROUGH Facebook. If that's the case, please, bookmark this site and check back within the coming days and weeks.
