Professors are in close proximity with emotional students a lot. When they’re not in their safe spaces, that is. Sometimes the teachers are impulsive messes themselves and encourage violent behavior. It comes with the territory. Even still, the general consensus amongst people is that living is better than dying. Or in this case, being gunned down by someone who disagrees with you.
The University of Houston’s (UH) faculty senate has issued a strong set of warnings to professors suggesting they avoid controversial topics in order to avoid provoking armed students.
Cue gun control crazed leftists blaming conservatives…for everything. Which is not only super predictable but super hilarious, considering the left created these unstable monsters in their safe space labs. Young liberals can’t even handle hearing someone disagree with them (watch Sanders Supporter Cries about Trump Voter Disagreeing With Her).
“The intrusion of gun culture onto campus inevitably harms the academic enterprise in a myriad of ways.” Maria Gonzalez, an English professor, expressed a similar fear that a “volatile” student could snap and resort to violence during a lecture on Marxist or queer theory.
Ah, yes. Because it’s the anti-queer people who get violent when you mix up their preferred pronouns (see Transgender Violently Threatens Ben Shapiro For Calling Him Sir).
Here’s the thing, though, and it’s been a pervasive problem of the left: the idea that legal gun owners are two clicks away from going postal. Those Second Amendment gun nuts, if they hear just ONE thing, ONE thing they disagree with?
Except legal gun owners aren’t that way at all. Legal gun owners don’t need “trigger warnings.” They don’t need “safe spaces.” They don’t fly into fits of bullet-filled rage. The only time they pull out their guns is to drop a bad guy with a gun. We’ve seen it happen over, and over and over again. Take for example Armed Robbers Raid a Barbershop. Get CUT DOWN by Two Concealed Carry Holders… or PLOT TWIST: Man Tries to Beat his Girlfriend. Gets Shot Instead…
So stop it. Enough. If there’s any hatred, it’s not on the side of the gun owners. All prejudices are entirely on the other side.
