[Video] UN Was Wrong About Jerusalem Vote, Says... Jake Tapper?
It's not often we find ourselves agreeing with Jake Tapper. But hey, it's Christmas. Even a broken, douchebag of a clock is right two times a day. Or in Tapper's case, once every six months or so. If he's lucky.
This time, the Tapster went after UN countries who voted to condemn America's embassy move to Jerusalem. Take a listen.
Among the 128 countries who voted to condemn the U.S. on the issue were some countries with rather questionable records of their own. Take Venezuela's representative today. The U.S. imperils global peace, says the representative of Venezuela -- a country in humanitarian disaster with violence in the streets, an economy in complete collapse, citizens malnourished, dying children being turned away from hospitals, starving families joining street gangs to scrounge for food. On what moral platform does the government of Venezuela stand today? Now certainly Israel is not above criticism, but considering the lack of basic human rights in North Korea, the children starving in the streets of Venezuela, the citizens in Syria targeted for murder by their own leader using the most grotesque and painful of weapons, you have to ask: is Israel truly deserving of 86% of the world's condemnation?
Biggity boom.
Jake disagrees with us on the majority of issues, obviously (see Ben Carson Refuses To Apologize For 'Sharia and Constitution' Comment. Jake Tapper Freaks Out.). But even he can spot the unfettered wrongness rooted in the UN's smarmy ways. To be fair, it's hard to miss. What with them being so wrong so much of the time.
If one of CNN's flying imps can concede to Israel's right to exist, you'd think more of the United Nations would be able to see eye to eye on the issue. Alas, this just goes to show their absolute incapability. It's all rather embarrassing. If not as predictable as an Amy Schumer film flop.
Globalists are making themselves look like giant, gaping anuses. What else is new?
