After the surprising, though not unexpected, revelation of Clinton and the DNC's involvement in the Trump-Russia dossier (see JUST IN: Fake Trump-Russia ‘Dossier’ Was Funded by Clinton Campaign and DNC and Uh Oh! New Report Shows DOJ Blocked FBI from Investigating Clinton Foundation) Republicans find themselves doing the "I'm so happy I could scream while waving an American flag, shooting a boom-stick, and eating a Big-Mac" dance.

Trump did a little victory lap of his own during a press conference this afternoon.

“They’re embarrassed by it, but I think it’s a disgrace,” Trump told reporters, before heading to Texas for a briefing on Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts and a Republican fundraiser. “It’s a very sad commentary on politics in this country.”

“The whole Russia thing … this was the Democrats coming up with an excuse for losing the election,” Trump told reporters. “They lost it and they lost it very badly. And they didn’t know what to say, so they made up the whole Russia hoax.”

“Now it’s turning out that the hoax is turned around, and you look at what’s happened with Russia and the uranium deal and the fake dossier, and it’s all turned around.”

Asked Wednesday if he knows who that was [the Repulican who funded the firm's research], Trump teased the media.

“I think I would know but I won’t say,” he said. “I have one name in mind. … It will probably be revealed.”

Trump quickly moved from his talk on the dossier scandal to unity in the Republican party, a new tax plan, and defeating ISIS. He kept his cool despite whiny reporters. And the seemingly massive conspiracy against him about a Russian prostitute ring. Seems like an opportunity to gloat a little more than two minutes. But Trump gets a point for being semi-professional. This time.

The scandals for the Democrats are unraveling. All this "TRUMP IS A RUSSIAN SPY!" crap was manufactured from the Democrat side. Which, in light of the Uranium Bribery Scandal, seems like obvious projection. No?
