Trump Awards Huge Gift to Las Vegas Police Department After Shooting
Lots has been going down in Las Vegas since the shooting (see ISIS Claims Responsibility for Las Vegas Shooting. A Few Things...). Vegas police have been working their butts off in response to the tragedy. Their hard work hasn't gone unnoticed. Trump recently announced a donation is in order for Nevada. Bring on the monies!
President Trump announced on Wednesday that $1 million, which will come from the Department of Justice (DOJ), will be awarded to Las Vegas to aid law enforcement after the recent mass shooting in the city.

The Department of Justice confirmed in a statement that its donation to the state of Nevada was drawing from emergency response funds to "help assist with the immediate costs of responding to the mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada.""The grant funds announced today recognize the hard work and dedication of law enforcement officers across Las Vegas and the State of Nevada, who worked tirelessly in the wake of the tragic shooting last week," the statement says.
In the wake of all the recent tragedies, one thing has remained consistent. Well, maybe two things. Firstly, people can be sewage-filled trash bags (see Top 5 Most Disgusting Leftist Reactions to Las Vegas Shooting...). But secondly, and more importantly, there are other, better people who come together and help each other during these times. We saw it during Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, and we're seeing it happen now.
So kudos to all the badass first responders who keep reminding us not everyone is a smarmy swamp monster.
