Therapists Warn of Rise in 'Trump Anxiety Disorder' Among Leftists
If you have an internet connection, you have no doubt heard a non-lefty use the term "Trump Derangement Syndrome." Usually to mock ultra-butthurt leftists who can't cope with the thought of the Orange One in the Oval Office. Up until now, you've probably thought TDS is only a joke.
Nope, now it's a real thing:
Therapists in the U.S. say they have seen a rise in politically-related anxiety under the Trump presidency.
Though a condition has not been officially named, therapists and patients have referred to it as “Trump Anxiety Disorder.”
Elisabeth LaMotte, the founder of the D.C. Counseling and Psychotherapy Center in Washington, D.C., told CBC that there is a “collective anxiety” among her patients related to President Trump’s rhetoric and policies.
"There is a fear of the world ending," she said. "It's very disorienting and constantly unsettling."
She said that Trump critics whom she treats exhibit similar behavior to patients who have a parent with a personality disorder.
So, the made-up ailment of memes and internet trollery has crossed over from to reality.
Yes, the Trump-centric triggering among lefties is so strong, it now requires psychological assistance. Further proving our assertion of the left being chock-full of grade-A nutbars. I can imagine the therapy sessions now. "Now repeat after me, my precious snowflake. "Trump is my president. Trump is my president."
Parody is now reality. These lefties are allowing themselves to fall into mental instability over a guy with an "R" after his name being in charge. They refuse to put their big boy/girl/xe pants on and act like adults. Tell me again why we should listen to anything they have to say at all.
