Whenever we talk about Trey Gowdy, it usually means some leftist somewhere has had their face melted off. He quickly became a LwC favorite during the election for obvious reasons (see Ouch. While we're on the subject of Gowdy's leftist stompage, remember how the 9th Circuit Court recently made a decision to overturn the Trump "travel ban" (that's not really a ban)?

Yeah, Trey's not a fan...

Some highlights here...

It seems clear to most of us - not on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals - there is no right to come to this country for non-citizens of the United States. It also seems clear judges are neither in a position, practically or prudentially, to second guess national security determinations made by the Commander in Chief. There is a reason we elect the Commander in Chief and do not elect federal judges.

For those, like Alexander Hamilton, who once or now wondered if the Judicial Branch would be too weak. Wonder no more.

This isn't the first bad move for which we have the 9th Circuit Court to thank. Or the second (see Concealed Carry? Yeah, You Don't Have a Right to That... When it comes to the Court of Appeals and wrongness, we have a lot to look forward to over the next four years.

Here's the thing - this "travel ban"? It has heaps of support from Americans. You know, the ones who elected Trump in the first place... in hopes he would follow through on promises like this one. See, that's where Gowdy makes an important distinction. Instead of giving the American people what they want by putting national security first? The decision has been ultimately made by those un-elected officials whose posteriors grace the chairs of the 9th Circuit Court. Also, as mentioned above, breaking the immigration laws of another country isn't a right. Small detail.

Meanwhile, guess who considers this a "win" for democracy? Hint: sniveling leftist dirt shrews. Who happen to be super out of touch with the rest of the populace.
