New Guidelines Allow 'Transgender' Children Under 16 to Medically Transition
Little Johnny is a boy who wants to be a girl. Little Robin is a boy who wants to be Batman. Guess who's wish will come true? A regulatory organization is allowing "transgender" kids under the age of 16 to receive hormone treatment. This means Johnny gets to be a girl, and Robin is out of luck (see CHILD ABUSE: Some Parents Now Sending Their Toddlers to ‘Transgender Camp’ and Child Abuse? UK Transgender Undergoes THIRD Sex Change. He’s Only 15…).
These new guidelines also mean Johnny gets a lifetime of medical complications and irreversible changes in his body. But at least mom gets a bunch of likes on Facebook. #Woke
New clinical guidelines, released Wednesday, are expected to reshape medical care for transgender children. The recommendations, written by an international medical team, ease previous restrictions so that children under 16 years old can begin hormone therapy in order to physically transform their bodies.
Among the key changes: the doctors are reversing their position on “social transitions.” For the first time, the Endocrine Society acknowledges that young children may benefit psychologically from changing their hair and clothing to match the gender they believe to be as opposed to the sex they were assigned at birth. Another major shift: the authors of the clinical guidelines say that hormone treatment to change sex may be beneficial for kids younger than age 16.
First of all, no amount of hormones will change sex. That's not how it works. A woman's DNA is encoded with her... female DNA. A man's DNA is encoded with his... male DNA. How is this hard?
“It makes it a lot easier for that person to blend in,” Rosenthal said. “If you go through female puberty and you have breasts, if you go through male puberty and you have an Adam's apple and a facial male structure, a deepened voice, all of these things are very difficult to change.”
You know what else is "very difficult to change?" A childhood of abuse where authority figures entertained delusions and put a child through needless operations. Can you say "depression" and "trust issues?" Because those will be the main words in Johnny's vocabulary.
Also, teenagers change their minds. Ask anyone who used to be a teenager. To halt puberty, to take hormones so as to "blend in" is straight up abuse and dangerous.
“I think it’s putting a lot on the shoulders of these children,” said Dr. Eric Vilain, a pediatrician and geneticist who heads the Medical Genetics division at UCLA. “It’s putting them on a path that will have a lot of medical and surgical consequences.”
Dr. Vilain's statement is consistent with the urgent condemnation of child transitions by the American College of Pediatricians (see Letting Children Transition is Child Abuse Says American College of Pediatricians). Puberty is a perfectly natural process which shouldn't be screwed with for the temporary whims of teenagers who want to be "cool" and "blend in" with what society is currently saying is popular.
See, that's the thing with teenagers. They want to be accepted almost more than anything. Right now being transgender is so hot. It's THEE thing to do. Ergo a lot of kids, who want to be accepted, are saying they're the opposite sex. But rather than parents being parents and explaining to their children that "this is but a temporary phase of your life," their parents are caving. And doing irreparable harm to their children in the process. It's sick. It needs to stop. Now.
Speaking of mental disturbance because of gender dysphoria, here's a father who wants to be a 6-year-old girl.
