But good lord, it's nothing compared to Canada, where a noted Canadian terrorist is going to regain citizenship. Yes really. An actual practicing terrorist... will be regaining citizenship. Because tolerance.

The leader of an al-Qaida-inspired plot to explode truck bombs in downtown Toronto during the morning rush hour will have his Canadian citizenship reinstated under legislation introduced by the Liberals on Thursday.

The proposed law tabled in the House of Commons, Bill C-6, contains a provision that would restore the citizenship of any convicted terrorists who lost it as a result of changes brought in by the previous Conservative government.

Effectively, the bill means the Liberals will be returning citizenship to Zakaria Amara, ringleader of the Toronto 18 terror group, which planned al-Qaida-style violence in southern Ontario to push Canada to abandon Afghanistan.

To clarify, the Canadian terrorist did lose his citizenship because of “acts against the national interest”. That's politically correct code for "freaking terrorist".

These are but minor details to the modern, SJW left. Thus, he's getting it back because of feelings. After all, we wouldn't want to hurt the terrorist's feelings now would we? That would make us no better than the terrorists themselves! Child-brides and suicide-bombers notwithstanding. Because when compared with the accusation of Islamaphobia... what's a little actual terrorism really?

Remember when we wrote about leaders who were subverting the safety of their citizens in the name of political correctness (read "Dear Cowardly Politicians Subverting our Safety for Syrian Refugees" here)? Well, it's happening again. The altar of political correctness already finds itself awash in the blood of the innocent. So really, being "nicer" to terrorists is the next logical step.
