Incompetence: FBI Loses Track of Orlando Shooter's Wife. Yes, Really...
You know Noor Salman, the Orlando Terrorist's wife who may or may not have been an accomplice in the second largest terror attack in US history? Hold that thought.
You know the FBI, who puts American's names on the "no fly" and "terror watch lists" that liberals want to use to strip people of their Second Amendment rights? Hold that that thought too.
Well that same FBI lost Noor Salman, the terrorist's wife. No, seriously. She's gone.
Omar Mateen, 29, added his wife, 30-year-old Noor Salman, to his life-insurance policy and gave her access to his bank accounts, CNN reported on Friday, citing unidentified law-enforcement sources.
Now, Salman has left the area where the couple lived, according to the Sun Sentinel.
She's "no longer here," Omar Mateen's father, Seddique, told reporters outside of his Fort Pierce, Florida, home on Wednesday.
Let's hit pause in this block quote for one teensy second. Pretend you're in the FBI. You wear the dark shoes. The dark suit. Maybe the dark sun glasses. You're rocking the Fed look as dictated by every single Hollywood representation of a Fed. So there you are, investigating a man who shot 49 people while claiming to do it for ISIS. It's the giant case of your career. Multiply you times dozens of agents.
Now imagine marching down the office and telling your fleet of bosses you'd lost the shooter's wife.
Because that's what happened. A team of FBI agents lost the wife of a terrorist. But it gets worse:
In the texts, Mateen asked his wife if she had "seen the news." Salman then told Mateen that she loved him, CNN reported. Salman deleted all of her social-media accounts shortly after the shooting occurred and has not given interviews to the press.
Red flags. They're up. Yet... FBI lost her. They have no idea where she is. Disneyland, the mall, your mom's house. They don't know.
A grand jury is currently weighing whether or not to charge Salman with a crime for withholding information from police about her husband's plans.
And then what, FBI? You send her a folded piece of paper saying she's been subpoenaed? Come down or else we'll tattle on you? Where do you send the subpoena IF YOU LOST HER?!
But by all means, let the feds effectively manage a list that decides who gets Constitutional rights and who doesn't. Because this is the same FBI who FUBARed the iPhone situation post the San Bernardino attack.
Still want the FBI and the government by extension, to decide willy nilly who's allowed a gun and who isn't? Or would you rather rely on yourself?
Make a pro/con list if you're still lost. Then watch this video about the Second Amendment.
