The New Fat Shaming Movement is...Cancer!?

Brodigan
December 19, 2015

Fighting what they call "fat shaming" was one of the big causes for leftists this year (see UNDERSTANDING “BODY-PRIDE”: Celebrate Fat But… Demonize Fit?! and OPINION: Big Fat Shame—Obesity and the New Liberal ‘Victim’ Class). You cannot criticize anyone for being fat and say they are unhealthy, because how dare you make them feel bad for being fat and unhealthy. Stop your judgment. You're a hater.

Here's a new wrinkle...no, roll. Fat roll. Here's a new fat roll to the fat shaming, body pride crowd. It does start with "C" but it's not "Censorship." Try again. No, it's not cookie either. Put it down. Stop it, it isn't "condoms." That's three guesses. You're done.

Nope, it's cancer! How dare you tell me that my fat pride puts me at risk of catching you?

Most cases of cancer are down to unhealthy lives, rather than bad genes, doctors said last night.

They said that factors in the world around us, from diet, to sunlight, cigarettes and disease, play a far bigger role in fuelling cancer than dodgy DNA.

Up 90 per cent of cancer cases would be wiped up if all these triggers could be avoided.

Dr Emma Smith, of Cancer Research UK, said: ‘Healthy habits like not smoking, keeping a healthy weight, eating a healthy diet and cutting back on alcohol are not a guarantee against cancer, they do dramatically reduce the risk of developing the disease.’

Be healthy. Don't get cancer. Do you find that triggering? It's pretty freaking judgmental if you ask me. Who is cancer to judge like this? Fat people are beautiful. Fat people are brave. Even braver now we have studies like this coming out, pointing to fatness as a risk for cancer. With ever Snicker's bar snacked upon, cancer creeps ever closer. Okay, yeah, so that's not super "scientific" but you have to admit you see the correlation. Also, Snickers are good, but if you're going to get cancer for your love of sugar, please just eat the triple fudge brownie, okay? Go big or go home.

You can do it, Bruce!

Here's what's sad about what should be common knowledge: tell a fat person they're unhealthy and are at risk for cancer, you're the bad guy (read YouTube Comedian Gets #SJW Attacked for 'Fat-Shaming.' Doubles Down Awesomely.... Such is the world today, where truth is triggering and unhealthy lifestyle are revered and called brave.
