Stupid opinions about the "Roseanne" reboot have been almost as prolific as gun stupidity. Wait, that's not even possible. Scratch that. But still, stupidity abounds. Might be contagious.

Rob Lowe, however, had a reasonable take.

Entertainment now is judged by how much it hates people who voted for Trump. It's how liberals define comedy. Not making people laugh. Not writing clever lines. No, making themselves feel warm and fuzzy about their political choices. Transwomen allowed to pee next to little girls, and the Trumpers hate it. Lol, lol.

"Roseanne," instead, showed Trump supporters as something other than subhuman basement dwellers, feeding off the souls of prepubescent, gay, cross-dressing imps. Something Lowe thinks is a good idea.

And leftists think is booty.

Yes, Rob Lowe's privilege. For saying it was nice there's TV show that doesn't dehumanize the political opposition. One sidedly. Thankfully we had Twitter to the rescue to prove his point.

As an aside, I finally got to watch the reboot, and it was ok. Parts of it were hysterical. But it felt like they were trying to cram all politics into two episodes and felt rushed. But if you're an oldhead like me who loved the original series, I'd definitely check it out.
