Texas School asks for 50 Volunteer Dads for 'Breakfast for Dads' Event. 600 Show Up.
Listen to a feminist coven long enough (because you've been chained to a chair, subsisting on nothing but gluten-free bread and your own tears), and you'll believe all men are patriarchal oppressors who rape women for breakfast, then devour their young for lunch. Reality, a magazine to which feminists have no subscription, says otherwise.
In December, a Texas school wanted a Breakfast for Dads event but feared there wouldn't be enough fathers to fill seats. The school issued a request for volunteers, seeking at least fifty men to act as surrogate papas for some fatherless students.
Over 600 men showed up.
When Dade Middle School put out a call for volunteers to help with the Breakfast with Dads event, there was a fear there wouldn't be enough dads for the students. But as NBC 5's Kristin Dickerson reports, North Texans answered the call for help.
When feminists say things like "we need to teach boys to not rape!" I shake my head. We need good men. To teach boys. How to be good men. But first, we need men in boys' lives. Just as girls need good women in their lives to teach them how to be ladies, so too do we need good men in boys' lives to teach boys how to be gentlemen. Such a paragraph shouldn't be controversial or even need to be written. Alas.
Men stepping up to lead, to be positive role models for young boys is exactly what our society needs right now. Not more screeching feminists insisting men are predators to be shamed. We need confident, secure men teaching boys how to take pride in being confident, secure men.
To these 600 men who took up the call, I say bravo, gents. Bravo.
