There was concern after the Oscars that Will Smith slapping Chris Rock--something Jada Pinkett Smith did NOT want to happen--that fans were going to be inspired to slap comedians. That hasn't happened yet. However, there have been a number of sucker-punching little b*tches at sporting events. We've seen a track star getting jumped from behind. Now, in tennis, we have another sore loser.

He didn't jump the guy from behind, though. He waited to shake his hand, then hit him.

Welcome to Ghana. France's Michael Kouame just lost to Ghana’s Raphael Nii Ankrah. They met at half-court, where Kouame went to extend his hand and say "good game" just like they teach us to as children. Only just as they were about to shake hands, Kouame sucker-punched him. It was a slap instead of a punch, but "sucker-slapped him" sounds weird. A brawl broke out shortly after.

It is unclear what led to the slap. Maybe Kouame's wife cheated on him with Nii Ankrah. Maybe Kouame sat down as she recorded the conversation telling him how she was banging another dude then uploaded that conversation to YouTube, turning Kouame into a meme. Emasculated and embarrassed, losing to Nii Ankrah in a game of tennis was too much. He attacked Nii Ankrah screaming "keep your tennis balls out of my wife," as he looked for her approval. Only his wife wasn't there. That's when the brawl broke out.

Or, as said before, Kouame is just a sucker-punching little b*tch. It's 2022. Who can tell?
