Congressman Suggests Fighting 'Fake News' By... Watching MSNBC?!

Team Crowder
March 18, 2017

Leftists are keen on pushing a crusade against "fake news." Also known as any piece of news with which progressives disagree. Unfortunately for them (but lucky for laugh enthusiasts), the left's crusade against fake news has blown up in their face like Wile E Coyote with an ACME rocket. Not once, but many times (see Tucker Carlson SLAYS Vox.com Writer Over ‘Fake News’). The left continues to press on in their quest, despite their attempts flopping like a hooked flounder. Bless them.

Ted Lieu, a Democratic Congressman, is helping keep the asshattery tradition alive...

While appearing on MSNBC for an interview today, Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) ended up giving the network an unsolicited plug when he heaped tons of praise upon the cable news channel for their coverage of President Donald Trump.

After some more discussion about the upcoming hearing and Lieu’s recent House resolution to combat fake news, the fierce Trump critic proceeded to give MSNBC a free advertisement.

“The best way to oppose fake news is for people to watch outlets like MSNBC where you report real news all the time,” the California lawmaker said. “Keep in mind, the president is scared that people will watch MSNBC so you must be doing something right. Thanks for speaking truth to power.”

So, he thinks MSNBC is a fountain for truth and integrity in news...

I hate to break it to you, Teddy Boy, but your pals over at the MSNBC crap fake news like Lena Dunham after a chimichanga binge. In other words, dinner. Every night. From manipulating election polls to incessant race baiting, there is no low to which MSNBC-ites aren't willing to belly flop. Standards meet Honey Pot.

But let me add insult to the sick burns. The crew at MSNBC are ringing the hypocrite bell like Quasimodo during an intermittent fast hunger rage. While Rachel Maddow was out playing GOTCHA! with Trump's tax returns (in yet more proof that God has a galactic sense of humor), her own comrades at the "Lean Forward" network were pulling a dine-and-dash with their own taxes. Whatever happened to paying your fair share, guys?

MSNBC and its leftist acolytes might claim to be fighting the good fight against fake news, but they're one of its biggest pushers. Like street corner drug dealers, except they're peddling ignorance, not fun pills for a Friday night in your mom's basement. Theodore and MSBNC hope you and I swallow the blue pill MSBNC's slinging. Then join them in their brainwashed trance where we question all we know to be true. Mainly, reality. Be like Nancy Reagan: just say no.

Speaking of fake news...
