Ted Cruz appears to have woken up Tuesday morning and chosen violence. When he got to work, an aide asked the senator how much of the smoke he wanted. Cruz answered "all of it." It's one thing to dunk on Sen. Dick Blumenthal. That guy's a turd. But to mock popular social media influencer Rep. AOC? On the floor of the Senate? I hope Cruz is ready to spend the day laughing at the angry Rep. AOC stans on Twitter. Or worse, he might have to respond to an Instagram story.

Cruz gave a speech on Democrats ignoring the current border crisis that Joe Biden, or the people who control Joe Biden, are responsible for. He brought up the social media influencer's now-famous Glamour Shots photo shoot outside a fence. A fence that Politifact tells us was in the vicinity of a migrant detention center.

Back to Sen. Cruz's point, why hasn't social media influencer Rep. AOC made the trip? She still has her side hustle as a member of Congress. I know she was in a bad mood the last time she went. But I'm a sure Rep. AOC can find a photographer in the area who works cheap.
