The left believes diversity means including different skin shades, the darker the better. Unless that shade is Indian, and especially Asian. They're too smart (see YES! Justice Department to Sue Universities Over Affirmative Action and REAL RACISM: Asian-Americans Denied College Admissions for Being Too Smart?!).

One college student used his brain noodles to work affirmative action in his favor: he pretended to be black.

Notice how annoyed the CNN "journalist" was here? He's bloodied by his narrative being blown into a trillion, deep-cutting pieces. Unfortunately, Obamacare can't fix it, since it can't fix much of anything. But at least he can keep on pushing false narratives with nary a challenger.

But Vijay Jojo Chokal-Ingam had further explanation for his ingenious escapades:

I wanted to be a doctor. Yes, it’s kind of a cultural thing, but I’m also totally American, grew up in Boston and even got my middle name from Jo Jo White, one of the Celtics stars.

One of my closest friends, nicknamed Boots — Indian-American like me — shared my dream.

...He began applying to medical schools and we both figured he would sail through, get many interviews and then have his pick. Boots was a year older and medical school was everything he had worked for since starting at the University of Chicago. His grades and test scores were better than mine because, unlike me, he actually studied. But when he applied to 15 medical schools, got only two interviews and was accepted to exactly zero schools, he felt like a college running back who thinks he’ll go to the Patriots in the second round and is stunned when he’s relegated to playing in the CFL.

...I think that affirmative action tends to promote racial resentment and perpetuates negative stereotypes. Some Asian-Americans and whites believe they are the victims of affirmative-action discrimination and can feel resentment about it. Affirmative action also furthers negative stereotypes about the professionalism and competency of African-American, Native American, and Hispanic professionals by making it seem like they need special treatment.

Right, because Affirmative Action affirms a noxious idea better known as "the soft bigotry of low expectations." That is, you're too stupid, weak, or "oppressed" to succeed on your own, so the government will push aside actual qualified people, who worked for this opportunity, and instead give it to you based on nothing but your race or gender. Yes, that's how Affirmative Action works. Yes, it's inherently racist and sexist. Yes, it deserves to be called out.

So along comes Vijay Jojo who decides to change his race from Indian to Black, and voila, doors open wide. Which just goes to prove the point that Affirmative Action is inherently racist (and sexist). Seems like we've made this point several times before.

If you want to get into med school, just say you're black, yeah? Or you identify as black. Or a transgender lesbian princess. Report back with your results.
