SNL Delivers Most Hilarious/Brutal Portrayal of Hillary Yet!

Brodigan
May 18, 2015

SNL had more fun at the expense of Hillary Clinton this weekend, about how she is planning on ruining your summer vacation.

The change in tone from how SNL has handled Hillary Clinton (and Bill too) has been noticeable.  Amy Poehler's "Hillary Clinton" was handled with respect, and how she was an (alleged) icon and an (alleged) feminist and an (alleged) human.  This new portrayal of Hillary Clinton (played by Kate McKinnon) is Hillary who she really is: cold, entitled, completely out of touch and dare we say it... dare we... we might... kind of bitchy. *gasp*

Their Bill Clinton is also a lot more lecherous, which is funny considering how Darryl Hammond used to play the former President back when people still liked the Clinton family. Contrast, folks.

The change in tone isn't something that should be dismissed or taken likely.  Like it or not, a lot of people make their political decisions based on what they see in pop culture.  If the pop culture version of Hillary Clinton is already viewed as someone who is out of touch with Americans and thinks she's entitled to the White House, imagine how it will be for her next year.

The question remains... which of our 217 Republican nominees will be able to capitalize on this.
