Why Lefitsts Deemed 'Zoolander 2' Offensive. Showed 'Deadpool' Instead.

Brodigan
April 24, 2016

Students at Claremont McKenna in SoCal were supposed to show Zoolander 2 to the students, but scrapped it after they decided the movie was too offensive. Instead, they showed Deadpool.

I know what you just did. A double-take. You no doubt assumed that I accidentally swapped movie titles amidst a late night bender. "No no, you must have meant that Deadpool was too offensive, so they showed Zoolander 2 instead. Right, Steven?"

Wrong.

The reasoning behind why they made the switch will... not surprise you in the slightest.

“After screening ‘Zoolander 2,’ we observed that the film did not portray the LGBTQ community in a positive light and made a series of inappropriate jokes at the expense of individuals of marginalized identities,” the programming board said Sunday in an email to The College Fix. “The College Programming Board strives to put on events which support an inclusive community on campus. We did not believe that screening ‘Zoolander 2’ reflected our values, nor did it help us promote the campus climate we hope to create.”

“Though ‘Deadpool’ is a R-rated movie it does not target marginalized identities the way Zoolander did. Our choice to cancel the film was a calculated choice that we felt would support and respect our community on campus,” the statement added.

We wrote about this when the movie first came out, where SJWs went straight to plaid over Benedict Cumberbatch playing a "transgender" character. Yes, a movie satirizing the fashion industry had a character that was satirical. Jimmies were officially rustled.

This goes to a larger point you've probably noticed because, unlike leftists... end of sentence. If LGBTQAAIP (silent F) characters are not portrayed as anything other than beautiful, healthy, wonderful people, it's HATE. If these same LGBTQAAIP (silent F) characters are not also the constant victims from cis-gendered meanies? HATE. If these characters look as they do in real life (i.e. the lesbians do not look like super hot models, but like real-life, ugly lesbians)? HATE.

So if in Zoolander 2, cis-gendered Benedict Cumberbatch portrays a transexual who is not the hero of the story?

... You're catching on.

Speaking of trannies. Watch this video to learn more about the LGBTQAAIP (silent F) bathroom bills.
