OBAMA FOREIGN POLICY: US Commandoes Flee From 'Ally' Free Syrian Army...
As well as things are going with Syrians (see #RefugeesWelcome: UK Arrests 900 Syrians For Rape and Child Abuse… and Gun Permits Skyrocket in Austria Thanks to Syrian Refugee Violence), it's hard to believe American Commandos would be chased out of a town by rebels WHO THE US ARE BACKING. Whoa. Got a little screamy there. Sorry.
Yet, that's what this video shows anyway. The insults are being hurled by the Free Syrian Army. The FSA are the one's who are apparently on our side. The ones "fleeing" are American soldiers. Got that? You're now up to date.
“The collaborators of America are dogs and pigs. They wage a crusader war against Syria and Islam. ”
The incident illustrates the complex web of alliances and enmities in Syria, where many of America’s allies are fighting each other and some rebel groups that receive US support still harbour strong anti-American sentiments.
The footage shows a crowd of rebel fighters in the town of al-Rai near the Turkish border, which was captured from Isil by Syrian rebel groups with the backing of Turkey. Turkey, which launched a military incursion into Syria in late August, has been backing the FSA.
If you want another example of why Donald Trump happens, this video is why. Is it true we don't know how Donald Trump would handle this situation? Yes. Quite true. We're going for a forest vs. trees analysis here, so stick with me. It's okay if we hold hands.
But we know for a fact how President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John Kerry handle it...badly. See video. Reference the last 7.5 years of foreign policy. See America's waning super power status throughout the world. There's a lot of seeing to do, my friends. Yes, it's still okay if we hold hands. What difference, at this point, does it make?
Pot shot at the Hillary there. Not sorry. If you're upset, wipe it away with a cloth or something.
I can do this all day, people. ALL DAY.
Forest vs. Trees.
Here's the dealio: America used to be who nations would look to for more than just an example of freedom. We used to be the guys (and gals, don't get triggered, ladies), who came in and saved the day. Whether or not you agree on foreign intervention or foreign aid, the role America played on the world stage was that of good. Yes, America used to be (and I think still is) the "good guy." ISIS is the "bad guy." Supposedly the Free Syrian Army were the "good guys" because supposedly they're fighting ISIS, the "bad guys." Apparently Obama, Kerry and The Pantsuit were going with the whole "The enemy of my enemy is my BFF." This video, though? Not seeing it. Somehow I don't think American armed forces are having pillow fights with the Free Syrian Army. If that makes me a racist, whatevs.
So 7.5 years into Obama's term, America is running away. Got that? From whom doesn't actually matter. Remember, forest vs. trees. Thanks to Obama and his view on America's role in the world, especially militarily, our forces run from taunting. Think about that.
Yes, it's still okay if we hold hands.
I guess the Free Syrian Army weren't the moderates the U.S. thought they are...
