PERFECT: Sheriff RIPS INTO 'Moron' Teenagers for Traumatizing 9-Year-Old Girl
We have a soft spot for precious moments shared between law enforcement and children (see Little Girl Throws a Tea Party for a Policeman Who Saved Her Life...). If you're in possession of a heart, it shall be warmed by the passion with which this sheriff defends the little girl in this story. After the 9-year-old was traumatized by the "prank" of a couple teenage blockheads, this Pasco sheriff rushed to speak up for her...
An 18-year-old is facing misdemeanor charges after the Pasco County sheriff ... said video shows Drew Bretnall and another teenager chasing [a] 9-year-old child as she walked home from school. Bretnall told deputies he and his friend were recreating a Japanese anime character as the one teen charged after her."They scared this little girl to death. She thought there was clear and imminent danger to herself," said the sheriff in a press conference.
Bretnall and his family ... said this whole incident is "ridiculous" and they have hired an attorney. While the two teens told deputies it was a joke, the sheriff says this is no laughing matter.
Here comes the best part...
"We got 18-year-olds that are leaving to go off to college, 18-year-olds starting their careers, 18-year-olds sacrificing their lives, going overseas to defend our liberty and what America stands for. Then you got this moron standing out there creating a Japanese anime whatever it's called. They stated they knew at the time the girl was traumatized. But they didn't do anything about it. They waited until we found out where they were to say, 'Hey no this is all a joke.' Even Drew [Bretnall's] girlfriend gets on social media and says 'This is all a big misunderstanding.' I'm sorry, was it a misunderstanding for the little girl when she was running for her life? It absolutely wasn't," said the sheriff.
Let us just take a moment to appreciate that solid roasting. These teenage creeps got their bottoms thoroughly charred by this sheriff.
This officer doesn't care so much simply because he hates anime nerds with waifu body pillows. Not that we would blame him. Rather, he cares about the safety and well being of this little girl. So much he's moved to anger by the actions of the dweebish implings. Appropriate. Saying "it's a prank!" doesn't undo the fear and consequences their young victim suffered - perfectly explained by the sheriff.
One can't help but feel warmed by the dedication of law enforcement officials. The same law enforcement officials groups like #BLM generalize and attack (see WAR ON COPS: BlackLivesMatter Violently Shut Down Pro-Police Speech and Police Shoot Dumbasses Stabbing Each Other. Public Complains About... Police?!).
Speaking of which...
