Yes, Sean Spicer has been everyone's favorite whipping boy lately (see Crazed Leftist Strikes Again, Harasses Sean Spicer in Apple Store). And not without good reason, either. He's a gaffe machine. Not as gaffey (new word) as certain past vice president whose name rhymes with Biden, but close. But this week Spicer lobbed a live truth grenade at the press corps. The media has been trying ever so hard to spin the results of the Georgia special election (see Jon Ossoff Ruins Democrats’ Plans, Fails to Win Special Election…) as a plus positive for the Democrats.

Spicey wasn't having it...

No, not in terms of what their stated goal was. They said that their goal last night was to win the race with over 50%….They didn’t run for a runoff, they ran to win last night, and they lost. And so, anything sort of describing that as a loss is – is sort of inconceivable to me in the sense that that’s literally what they said their goal was to do….They put all the money that they had in there, they put all the firepower, and they came up short.

So, it’s a loss.

Yeah, there's nothing left to see here. Except how lame do you have to be for Sean "The Gaffe Man" Spicer to smack you down for the rest of the nation's morning delight?

It's like I read someone say, the DCCC wins symbolic moral victories. The NRCC wins actual elections. Only one of those outcomes matters. The other makes you look like a mentally challenged prancing peacock at a NASCAR race.

I totally pulled that simile from between the glorious cheeks of my gluteus maximus. Anyone who objects to that simile can take it up with management after they go and smack themselves with a pencil eraser. Just make sure you don't set up a perfect spike for Sean Spicer. That's just embarrassing.
