Samantha Bee was recently the master of ceremonies at a feminist event. True to form, Sam kept up her streak of being the unfunniest broad in show business. Which was made even more apparent by this lame jab she tried landing on Mike Pence:

On Friday, Variety held its “Power of Women” luncheon to honor Alicia Keys, Tina Fey, Emily Blunt, Tarana Burke, and Margaret Atwood, who recently said she believed the 9/11 hijackers got the idea from “Star Wars.”Taking on hosting duties was comedian and “Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee, who joked that the event to honor women was “Mike Pence’s personal hell.”
Variety reports that “Bee noted that if Pence was here today he’d probably be walking around asking everyone “Are you my mother?”

I won't contest the notion that enduring a feminist event emceed by Sam Bee isn't a hellish form of torture. Nevertheless, methinks her joke fell flatter than a conspiracy theorist's mental picture of the earth.

Notice also the teleprompter at the lectern. This doesn't appear to be an off-the-cuff kind of a remark. No, Sam actually took the time to write that weak-ass insult down and upload it to a prompter. Which is just plain sad.

Mike Pence seems to be the left's boogeyman. A totalitarian brute who's coming to drag your kids to a Christian reeducation camp. To chain your wife up in the kitchen. To wire your gay relative's giblets to a car battery. The only problem with those claims is Pence has never once said anything of that sort.

Samantha Bee thinks she got Mikey good with that dig. You can practically see her smug levels increase in real time. Instead, she's only proving us right about our notion of her being an unfunny dunce.
