Hopefully, you made it past the headline. And didn’t just jump to calling Rose McGowan a Hollyweird libtard in the comment section. Because I am well aware the actress is as anti-gun as they come. But she at least seems like she could be intellectually honest at times. As opposed to Alyssa Milano, who seems like she’s huffing paint.
Check this out:
Dear .@POTUS I’d like to discuss mental health in America with you. I believe by revamping the mental health system you could help solve the gun problem. You keep your guns, we get mental health funding and humane care. Does that seem like a fair trade? #MentalHealthSupport

In my opinion, Trump should reluctantly take the meeting. Reluctantly, because let’s not forget the last time Trump met with liberals about guns, it didn’t go over well. But this wouldn’t be a meeting about guns but about mental health, from a celebrity in an industry more known for the new and exciting ways they find to say ORANGE MAN BAD than entertainment.
Trump has nothing to lose. He’d just have to hear the pitch about mental health, which we can talk about more. Plus it makes Trump look bipartisan in the process. If that even matters to the left. They claim it matters to them, but Trump taking the meeting could call their bluff.
Taking the meeting might be especially poignant as Speaker Pelosi starts her gun grabby push in the New Year. Think of the tweet:
“Granny Nancy wants to erase the Second Amendment. My friend Rose and I want to actually help people. Mental health! Second Amendment! #MAGA #WATCHFOXNEWS”
Let’s see if McGowan is bluffing.
